Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Margin-Leak Audit ("we") handles, why, and for how long. The service is run by Nimisha Sharma. Questions: [email protected].

What we collect

• Contact details you send us: your name, email, store URL and anything you write in your messages.
• Store data you choose to share for an audit: CSV exports of orders, products and, optionally, shipping/3PL costs and payment transactions.
• Payment details are handled by the payment provider named on the payment link. We never see your full card details.

We don't need customer personal data. You can remove email, name, address and phone columns before sending. If they're included, our script drops them when the file is loaded, and we don't read or keep them.

How we use it

Only to deliver your audit, answer your questions and keep basic business and tax records of the sale. We never sell or share your data, name your store, or publish your figures.

Where it's processed

Audit files are processed locally on our own computer by our own scripts. We do not upload your files, or figures derived from them, to AI tools or any other online service.

Service providers

• Email: messages and attachments sent to [email protected] are stored by our email provider.
• File sharing: if you send a Google Drive or Dropbox link, that provider holds the files under its own terms.
• Website hosting: this site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver and protect the site.
• Payments: processed by the payment provider named on your payment link.

Cookies and tracking

This website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The order form doesn't submit anything to us; it drafts an email that you choose whether to send.

Retention

We delete your audit files, including email copies, 30 days after delivering your report, or sooner if you ask, and confirm deletion by email. We keep the report and our correspondence for business records.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 5 business days.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above.
